In 2019, Creative Testing Solutions partnered with Cissell Mueller Construction Inc. (CMCI) to relocate their St. Louis lab. The project was originally planned as a 50k sqft, single-story lab, warehouse, and office facility for CTS, but was later expanded to a $40M, 127k sqft, two-story facility to also house operations for the American Red Cross.

Between the two owners CMCI coordinated multiple design teams, managed budgeting, and navigated restrictive permitting and pandemic-era cost escalations. Key strategic adjustments, such as replacing a planned garage with alternative surface parking strategies, kept the project on track.

The facility was completed in January 2024 and now serves as CTS’s flagship lab and a central Red Cross facility for the region, with CMCI continuing to support operational upgrades.
